• We had one of these from our doctor and needed another one for use in the car. It was so easy to find, order, and have shipped to us.
• This nebulizer is quiet and portable. It doesn’t get as hot as some of the home devices, but does tend to take longer. Everything stores easily in the storage case. Excellent device. I would highly recommend.
• This was a replacement for an identical nebulizer that my husband had stolen out of his service truck (he is a road mechanic for a bridge building company). The unit stores in a case that looks like a camera case and that is why we think it was targeted. The second unit is just like the first one. It is compact and convenient and when my husband is off on a jobsite and having asthma problems, he just plugs it in to the lighter slot and does a treatment. The neb is really quiet, but it does take longer than a home treatment which I think is to be expected in a unit of this type. Hopefully we won’t have to replace this one soon, but if we do we will buy another one just like it.

We bought this nebulizer as a supplemental unit in a second room for convenience. It is quiet, compact and convenient. In short, it does the job and it does it well at an affordable price. When we buy any subsequent units (my husband gets about 2-3 years out of a unit because of constant use)then we will probably buy more just like it because it performs so well. Of note, since we have had several models over the years, if you want quiet, don’t buy a unit with a “convenient storage compartment” as these ALWAYS rattle. This neb has no such compartment.

This is the best Neb I have ever used! The extremely fine mist is more effective than the table top compressor I was using. This device works great, the vapor is very fine. Of course it makes the usual noise of such a compressor. Our little one 2 years doesn’t like to make inhalations, but the penguin at first made her curious to try some minutes, nevertheless she hates doing inhalations and doesnt sit quiet for more then 1 minute. The 5 year old likes it and makes the whole session, sometimes she sees the penguin and asks to use it. We do only natural inhalations with camomille etc. when they are coughing a lot. The mask included is OK, but the filter is somehow an older model, there are many better available seperately.

In medicine, a nebulizer is a device used to administer medication to people in the form of a mist inhaled into the lungs. It is commonly used in treating cystic fibrosis, asthma, and other respiratory diseases.

There are different types of nebulizer, although the most common are the jet nebulizers, which are also called “atomizers”. Jet nebulizers are connected by tubing to a compressed air source that causes air or oxygen to blast at high velocity through a liquid medicine to turn it into an aerosol, which is then inhaled by the patient.

As a general rule, doctors most commonly prescribe metered-dose inhalers for their patients, largely because these are more convenient and portable than nebulizers. However, jet nebulizers are commonly used in hospital settings for patients who have difficulty using inhalers, such as in serious cases of respiratory disease, or severe asthma attacks.

Newer, compact electronic nebulizers are also available. These nebulizers, such as the Pari eFlow, the Respironics i-Neb, the Omron MicroAir series, and the Aerogen Aeroneb, use vibration of membranes or meshes to produce the aerosol and are more portable since they do not need the compressed air source that accompanies jet nebulizers. However, electronic nebulizers are more expensive. Piezoelectric nebulizers are used in electronic cigarettes.
